The meeting centre – more than just Schmalkalden University’s initiative

The meeting centre is a collaborative effort between Schmalkalden University, BUKS e.V. (German acronym for vibrant culture Schmalkalden), and the town of Schmalkalden. BUKS e.V. manages the café operations, designs, and implements participatory event formats. Schmalkalden University supports the conception, implementation, and follow-up of these events. The town of Schmalkalden demonstrates its commitment to welcoming international students, professionals, and new residents by providing significant financial support, underscoring its dedication to the initiative.
